I am writing a sequel to the Lord of the Rings. How can I get it published?

Copyright protection of the works of J.R.R. Tolkien preclude any sequel. His characters and locations are also protected by copyright.

I want to set some of Tolkien's poems to music, how do I go about this?

Permissions would be required for recording or performance and these can only be granted by the Tolkien estate. The Permissions Department at HarperCollins will be able to consider your request if you send a cassette in for consideration.

I would like to meet Christopher Tolkien. Is this possible?

The Tolkien family have now retired from public life and live overseas. Unfortunately they are unable to enter into correspondence.
